What Have I Done?

Dundee Hurricanes - 2009/2010

The super bowl this year was set to be an amazing line-up. Obviously the Dundee Hurricanes needed a poster to represent their night and I assisted with this poster.

Frank came to me with his newlystarted business; He was interested in developing an identity for his business that was professional, inviting and modern. Through the development of corporate web design (with CMS), corporate logo, stationary and advertising leaflets, Frank got his company off to a flying start.

G&G Autoelectrix

Graphic design should always be personal. When Gordon came to me with an idea... he loved graffiti, in particular 3D styles. Although I am not a graffiti artist, I came up with a few designs and we worked together to produce something special. Gordon was over the moon with the end result and the logo and business cards are an attractive addition to his thriving business.

The man Behind the Mask

I am Fraser Revie, the brains behind this outfit. Originally from Glasgow, I moved to Dundee to study Criminological Studies. The ability to examine diverse cultural and social experience has had a dramatic influence on my work.......through personal study and research I have further tuned my skills in providing a positive connection through web design with my customers with significant impact to the future success of their business.

I bet you're asking yourself 'So What!?', 'What does that have to do with doing Web/Graphic design?' I live to design, since my dad bought his first computer for the house I was taking it apart and creating my own websites (you remember geocities?). Moving on through the years, I had developed my skills as a web and graphic designer, to the extent that I would help my friends who studied web design at University (on their honours projects).

At 17yrs I participated in the Scottish Schools Young Enterprise Scheme. I achieved the Young Enterprise Outstanding Achievement award. While working for the company I utilised skills already developed but applying this to a formal business model. This sparked an interest that I would return to on completion of my studies.

Hobbies & Interests

American Football

I enjoy a variety of different sports but in particular I love to play American Football. I played for the Lanarkshire Rams and more recently with the successful local team the Dundee Hurricanes. The discipline and team working skills are transferred into how I apply myself to opportunities.
